All art is human made
Use of Proceeds
Updated monthly as phases progress
We want you to know exactly where your support goes, and to see real progress against real goals as we get there. Rather than one lump total, funding is structured in three phases, each building on the last, and each with a purpose we can explain clearly.
How donations are used: a portion of every donation goes directly to compensate the artists whose work you're supporting, with the remainder funding the phases below. All figures are net of standard payment processing fees.
Why some numbers below are still "to be disclosed": we'd rather give you an honest, negotiated number once we actually have one than a guess dressed up as a budget. Phase 1's goal is based on real research into our production partners. Phase 2 and Phase 3's goals depend on quotes we can only properly negotiate once the prior phase is complete.
Phase 1: Marketing & Merchandising Setup
$2,000
$0 raised of $2,000 (0%)
Illustrative estimate, subject to adjustment once supplier quotes are finalized
This funds standing up our print-on-demand merchandising process: finalizing print-ready art for our first product line, ordering and quality-checking physical samples, a trademark search before selling under the Yinmifuyin name, and initial marketing to bring the first supporters in. Because we're using a print-on-demand model ( no warehouse, no upfront inventory ) this phase is intentionally lean.
Phase 2: Manga Development (Episodes 1–4, physical copies)
To be disclosed upon completion of Phase 1
This phase moves our artists from volunteer contributions to real, paid work completing the full manga art for Episodes 1 through 4, finalizes the scripts, and sets up physical, shippable print copies to join our merchandise line — anywhere in the world. The real cost here depends on page count and artist rates, which we'll finalize directly with our artists once Phase 1 is complete.
Phase 3: Episode 1 Animation Production
To be disclosed upon completion of Phase 2
This is where Episode 1 actually gets animated, paid animation work, voice, sound, and music. From this phase onward, revenue from merchandise and manga sales (after their own production costs) also feeds directly into this fund, alongside donations, so your early support compounds as the project grows.
